GDPR rights, DPA and due diligence

How to exercise your rights over your personal data, and how to ask for a data processing agreement (DPA) or supplier due-diligence information.

Video transcript

You need something no button can do: a right over your data, a DPA, or a certificate. They concern your personal data or the company’s compliance, not a feature of the app. The Privacy Policy lists your rights: access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. DECODE GR I.K.E.'s ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ISMS certificate: request it through the Trust Center. For your rights, write to info@dikaio.ai or the DPO at dpo@decode.gr. Say which right, and your account email. For a DPA or a due-diligence questionnaire, write to info@dikaio.ai. You may be asked to verify your identity. Reply to that message so the request can go ahead. The Privacy Policy sets a reply within 30 days. If the request is complex, you will be told.

What you see

You need something that no button in the app can do. For example:

  • You want to know what data the company holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, or receive it in a machine-readable format.
  • Your firm or your client asks for a data processing agreement (DPA) or for answers to a supplier due-diligence questionnaire.
  • You need the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate of DECODE GR I.K.E.'s ISMS, issued by Prescient Security.

Why it happens

These requests concern your personal data or the company's compliance, not a feature of the app. That is why there is no screen for them, and they are handled by the team at DECODE GR I.K.E. by email, and the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate through the Trust Center. The Privacy Policy states that you have, among others, the right of access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability.

How to fix it

  1. See what you can do yourself

You change your account details in «Manage Account». Conversations and files are deleted as the article "Deleting conversations and files" explains, and the whole account as "Deleting your account" explains.

  2. Write your request

For rights over your personal data, email info@dikaio.ai or the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@decode.gr, as the Privacy Policy and the Security page set out, or fill in the form at https://www.dikaio.ai/en/contact-us. Say which right you want to exercise and give the email address of your account.

  3. For a DPA or due diligence

Write to info@dikaio.ai and describe what you need: the agreement or the questionnaire.

  4. For the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate

DECODE GR I.K.E.'s ISMS is certified by Prescient Security. Request the certificate through the Trust Center, https://trust.dikaio.ai: you give your name, email, company and reason, our team reviews the request and, once it is approved, you can view and download it.

  5. Identity check

Before processing a request, the company may ask you to verify your identity, so that third parties' data is not disclosed. Reply to that message so the request can go ahead.

  6. Wait for the reply

The Privacy Policy states that the company replies within 30 days of the request. If the request is complex, the deadline may be extended and you will be told.

For anything about your account or your usage, write to support@dikaio.ai.
