How to write questions for more precise answers A general question gets a general answer: dikaio.ai does not guess, it works from what you write. A good question has an action, a subject and a context: what to do, on which issue and under which law. Give the key facts: parties, amounts, dates. It can only work with what you give it. With the «Data Sources» filter, pick the legislation or case law that really relates to your question. For complex questions, try «Extended Analysis». One question per message, and each matter in its own conversation. A conversation works like a case file. You do not need to start over. Write in the same conversation, for example «Add relevant case law». Always check the result and its sources. AI supports your thinking; it does not replace it.
What it is
dikaio.ai does not guess. It works from what you write and the documents you attach. The clearer your question, the more useful the answer. Think of it as a new associate in your office: you give clear instructions and the full facts, and you get back work that you still review before you use it.
A good question has three parts: an action, a subject and a context.
- Action: what you want done (analyse, draft, explain, compare).
- Subject: the legal issue or the document.
- Context: the facts, the legal framework or the stage of the case (for example "under the Civil Code").
Why it helps
A general question gets a general answer. A complete question saves you repeated attempts and corrections.
How to get started
Start with the action
Say what you want done: "Draft an extrajudicial notice…", "Analyse whether…", "Compare…". Ask for one action at a time.
Give the key facts
For documents, include the type, the parties, amounts, dates and facts. For example: "Draft an extrajudicial notice for unpaid rent for January to March, 2,400 euros in total, payable within 10 days, with a reservation of rights." It can only work with the facts you give it, so always check the result.
Choose your sources
Use the «Data Sources» filter to select the legislation or case law that really relates to your question.
One question, one matter
Send one question per message and keep each matter in its own conversation. A conversation works like a case file.
Refine as you go
You do not need to start over. Write in the same conversation: "Add relevant case law", "Focus on fault", "Turn it into an extrajudicial notice".
Tips
- When you attach several documents, say which one you mean, for example "Summarise the contract of sale". In the «Attached Files» list, click a document to leave it out of your next questions, and click it again to include it.
- Do not mix requests. "Analyse, translate and summarise" in one message works worse than three messages in a row.
- For complex questions, try «Extended Analysis».
- The first few times you type on a computer, a hint above the question box reads «Provide as many details as possible in your question to get more accurate and comprehensive answers.» It stops appearing after a number of questions.
- Always check the result and its sources. AI supports your thinking; it does not replace it.
