The Dikaio.ai Agent and Extended Analysis

What it is

The Dikaio.ai Agent is the assistant that answers your questions. It does not reply straight from memory. It plans its research, picks sources, reads the relevant texts and goes back to them as needed, until it has built a well-grounded answer.

You can follow its progress on the card «Researching sources». When it finishes, its title changes to «Research complete», the card closes and shows how many sources were researched.

«Extended Analysis» is an option for hard questions. It uses an advanced model that looks deeper into the issue, the alternative interpretations and the counter-arguments.

Why it helps

You can see what is being examined and step in, instead of waiting in the dark. If your question has gaps, the Agent asks before it answers, so it does not rely on guesses. For complex issues, one switch gives you a more thorough analysis.

How to get started

   Send your question

   Write your question and click «Send Message». The card «Researching sources» appears and shows the steps being taken.

   Look at the research steps

   Click the card's header row to open or close the list. You will see which sources it searches and which documents it reads.

   Answer the quick questions

   If it needs clarification, the card «A few quick questions» appears. Select an answer, or write your own under «Something else…», then click «Send answers». If you would rather not answer, click «Let the assistant decide».

   Keep writing while it works

   You can type another message before the answer is finished. It joins a queue (you will see, for example, "1 message queued") and is sent once the current answer completes. While the research is running, «Send now» hands the message to the Agent immediately so it can change direction.

   Switch on Extended Analysis

   On the toolbar of the question box, click «Extended Analysis» (it carries the hint "Deeper reasoning") before you send. Click it again to switch it off.

Tips

• Extended Analysis is charged at least 3 credits per question, and more when the material it works on is long. Keep it for questions that need it.
• When you type a complex question, dikaio.ai may suggest the option with the button «Enable Extended Mode». You do not have to accept.
• If you do not have enough credits, you will see a message saying so (there the option is called "Extended Legal Analysis"). Switch Extended Analysis off to carry on with the credits you have.
• For better research, give a complete question and choose the right sources.
