Account security: password and devices Your account holds your clients’ questions and documents. Two simple steps reduce the risk. Click the row with your name at the bottom left and select «Manage Account». Open the «Security» tab. This is where you protect your access. If you suspect someone knows your password, click «Update password». «Active devices» lists where you are signed in. For one you do not know, click «Sign out of device». The password window has a checkbox to sign out of all other devices. Tick it. On a shared computer, select «Sign out» from the account menu when you finish.
What it is
The «Security» tab in account management is where you protect your access. There you change your password and see the devices where you are signed in.
Why it helps
Your account holds your clients' questions and documents. If someone else gets in, they are exposed. Two simple steps reduce the risk:
- Change your password if you suspect somebody else knows it, or if you use it elsewhere too.
- Sign out of any device you do not recognise or no longer use, for example a computer you borrowed or an old phone.
How to get started
Open account management
Click the row with your name at the bottom left and select «Manage Account». Or open https://www.dikaio.ai/en/app/chat?settings=security directly.
Go to Security
Select the «Security» tab.
Change your password
In the «Password» section click «Update password» and follow the instructions. The same window has a checkbox to sign out of all other devices that may have used the old password. Tick it. If you have not set a password, the button reads «Set password».
Check your active devices
The «Active devices» section lists the devices where you are signed in. If you see one you do not recognise, click «Sign out of device».
Tips
The sections you see in the «Security» tab can differ depending on how you sign in. If you cannot sign in, see the article "I can't sign in or sign up". If you want to close your account, see "Deleting your account".
