Incognito chats (nothing is saved)
Start an incognito chat for sensitive matters: it is not saved to your history. How to open it, what applies and how to leave.

Incognito chats: questions that leave no trace in your history The chat and its files are not saved to your history or library, and cannot be recovered once you leave. Useful for a first assessment of a new client, a sensitive matter, or a shared computer. Start from «New conversation»: the «Incognito» button appears only on the new-conversation page. In the header is the «Incognito» button, with the mask. On the free plan it appears dimmed. On a paid plan you type as usual, with a reminder above the box that nothing is saved. With «Leave incognito» and «Leave», the chat is gone for good. With «Stay» you keep going. Usage still counts towards your credits. Copy the answer before you go: the chat cannot be reopened. Nothing in your history. Sharing and exporting are not available in an incognito chat.
What it is
An incognito chat is a conversation that is not saved to your history. The app says so plainly: your chat and files are not saved to your history or library, and they cannot be recovered once you leave.
The feature is available on paid plans. On the free plan the button appears dimmed, with a message that you need to upgrade your plan.
Why it helps
Some questions you do not want sitting in your chat list: a first assessment for a new client, a sensitive family matter, or a question you ask before you take a case on. An incognito chat gives you the answer without leaving a trace in your history or library. If you share a computer with colleagues, the question will not appear in your list.
Two things to keep in mind:
- Usage still counts towards your credits.
- Once you leave, you cannot open the chat again. If you need the answer, copy it before you go.
How to get started
Open a new chat
Click «New conversation» in the sidebar. The incognito button appears only on the new-conversation page.
Click Incognito
In the header of the page, click the button with the mask icon, «Incognito». You will see the title «Incognito chat». If the button is not there, your organisation may have switched the feature off.
Ask your question
Type in the box «Ask in an incognito chat…». Above the box, a reminder says that your chat and files are not saved.
Leave when you are done
Click «Leave incognito». The app asks «Leave this incognito chat?». Click «Leave» and the chat is gone for good, or «Stay» to keep going.
Tips
