What it is
"Check legal compliance" is an action in Dikaio.ai that compares a document with the legal framework in force. You upload, for example, an agreement or a set of internal regulations, and the legal assistant looks up the provisions that apply and points out items that need attention.
Why it helps
You can spot possible gaps or conflicts before you sign or send a document, rather than after a dispute arises. Answers come with the legal sources they rely on, so you can verify them.
The check is a first pass that supports your own judgment; it does not replace it. The analysis can take a little time because the assistant researches the relevant sources.
How to get started
Select the action
Click the arrow next to the «New conversation» button and select «Check legal compliance». On the start screen the button under the message box is titled «Legislative Compliance Check». If you cannot see it, your organisation may have turned file uploads off.
Attach the document
In the «Legislative Compliance Check» window, drag your file in or choose it from your computer, click «Upload 1 file» and wait for processing to finish; the window closes by itself.

If you had not chosen any sources, «Greek legislation» is selected for you. The message box already contains "Check the legal compliance of the attached document". You can add to it, such as the type of document or the issue that worries you.
